Weapons can get ult+ and ult++ often enough depending on the weapon you are after (bar some which have awful rng, monk wrench for example) that it is viable to farm those and the stat increase is noticeable but, again, weapons don't matter even close to as much as a solid DPS pet or your build (since, really only a decent DPS is necessary and truly getting a beast one is actually absolutely pointless aside of just wanting to see big numbers). I mean accessories do require some farming effort, but it isn't as bad overall compared to good armors at that point. Three good accessories is around 600-900 for secondary stats and 1200-1500 for primary and that is without the significant effort it would take to see those increases in farming ideal armors above trans quality. Sadly, idk how much you've farmed accessories yet but they tend to have really bad spawn rates so you kind of need to farm them a fair amount but very worth for the great stat boost. You can get accessories with stats of 200-300 for secondary and 500+ with primary from Temple of Love (best acc map if you can manage it, gives up to 8 accessories per run with secret + 4 chars), or alternatively Winter Wonderland (coal for selling for mana). Monk is most notable and the best raw DPS hero because of not only by far the highest pet scaling with a dps pet but also because of their hero boost which further boosts their own and pet DPS. Like a pet can be the difference in doing 10m and 60m dps at a monk.
Pets are the biggest boost in DPS for a DPS hero and is the main reason propeller cat isn't viable most of the time outside boss killing as Barb/EV. If you get ult++ gears during your DD experience great, but otherwise just assume ult++ (anything but weapons) isn't a consideration. Ult++ gear is an exception as they have a ridiculous stat bump however to say they are rare, and even more so one with stats you want. Due to this, and the fact 5-6k stats are already all you need and the real stat boosts after getting good trans sets is in accessories, weapons, and pets. If you get some really good gear you might be able to stats up another 1-2k for 1 stat (your other stats wont show much increase tho, but can show a bit due to the set bonus increase in tier). Trans is pretty close to the real cap you can expect in growth for most players.Ībove trans really only 1 stat will get a heavy increase, the primary stat you focus, and it wont be a particularly huge increase. Just a heads up trans is about as good as it gets, normally. I need more damage to progress further (and/or a higher summoner). I have done NMHCMM kings game to wave like. That is one thing I did look up, and I still cant find a good place to farm armor above trans (which even that was pretty rare). Though finding/getting anything above trans armor has proven to be.

Polybus it is useful because in the final area you deal with a ton of bosses with billions of HP. Really, it is only useful on bosses so unless you do like Polybus a lot or Akakiti it isn't necessary and even on Akakiti it isn't really necessary just makes it easier. It actually might be higher than 500% as that is just the figure I've seen thrown around but in personal testing where other staves give me around 10-25m DPS I can 100+m DPS with a merely "okay" Ember Scepter. This multiplier works on the Proton Charge Blast ability so if two staffs were relatively identical in attack then the Ember would have 5x the dps. The reason is because it has a hidden +500% damage multiplier because it shoots one projectile despite being a scepter. It is the top DPS weapon specifically for EV's Proton Charge Blast ability, not for typical DPS attack spam.
